Does my recipient need RT or USDC?
No. Your recipient receives local currency in the bank account they already have. They don’t need an RT account, a crypto wallet or any USDC.
Which currencies can I send?
Global Transfers is launching with EUR, GBP, INR, PHP and PKR to existing bank accounts.
How is this different from RT bank transfers?
RT bank transfers move US dollars over US bank rails, and RT already supports USDC and debit card payouts. Global Transfers is a separate, new product that delivers local currency to bank accounts in the five launch currencies.
What will it cost, and how long will it take?
Fees, exchange rates and delivery times vary by route. Before you confirm, you’ll see the fee, the exchange rate, the amount your recipient gets and an arrival estimate. Figures on this page are examples, not quotes.
Can businesses use Global Transfers?
Yes. Personal customers can send to family and friends, and business customers can pay contractors and suppliers, subject to eligibility and route requirements.
